Gwangmyeong Cave dates back to many centuries as a gold and silver mine in 1912. It is now an amusement park with cultural and artistic elements that attract tourists from all over Korea. The cave is 7.8 kilometers long and 275 meters deep, and is the only cave in the Seoul metropolitan area. And it has become one of its most important attractions since it was included in the list of the top 100 must-go destinations in Korea for 2019-2020, and the cool air of the cave makes it a popular destination in summer, while the many exhibitions and events held inside the cave make it interesting on the all year round.
