The origins of the construction of the Qarji Mosque go back to the nineteenth century AD. It is one of the luxurious mosques with a majestic architectural character. The mosque was named after the naval officer of the same name (Mustafa Qorji). It is also located in the heart of the old town of Tripoli and near the Roman Arc de Triomphe; This mosque has its interior walls with exquisite Islamic decoration, in addition to a room containing the tomb of the officer Qorji and his family.
