It is one of the huge monuments in the city and was built in 1510 and is characterized by a wonderful and simple building style in the style of Ottoman architecture It is only 3.8 km from the center of Trabzon, which is characterized by an interior design with stunning Arabic and Islamic inscriptions and decorations. This mosque was named after Gulbahar Khatun, the wife of Sultan Mehmed II, Sultan of the Ottoman Empire.
