The Egyptian Museum is considered one of the most beautiful museums of the Vatican, and was founded in the sixteenth century. The museum contains many Roman monuments, statues and artwork. There are 9 halls in the museum where you can see the relics that were brought to Rome when Egypt was part of the Roman Empire such as ancient Egyptian mummies and coffins, through which the dimensions of the ancient Egyptian civilization can be redrawn in its different eras.
