Established in 1848, this amazing botanical garden is a huge garden covering an area of 55 hectares, located on the lower slopes of Doddabetta peak. The garden is uniquely designed in the form of terraces and terraces. The garden was initially established to provide vegetables at low prices to Europeans living in the city of Ooty, and with time it was converted into a botanical garden, planting rare plants collected from different regions around the world.
