Information about Good Shepherd church
One of the most prominent and beautiful monuments in the city of Jericho, it was built by the famous Italian architect Antonio Barluzzi in 1924 AD, and dedicated to Jesus the Good Shepherd. It is the actual place where the angel Abriel visited the shepherds to tell them the good news about the Chapel of the Nativity of Christ. The church is characterized by its beautiful classic design with ornate exterior walls, while from the inside it is characterized by its large and spacious area and is decorated with many drawings and comments of the Christian religion such as bells, candle lighting, and a statue of Jesus and the Virgin Mary.
