The Goldberger Textile Collection Museum was hosted in the former residence of the Goldberger family, one of Budapest's most prosperous textile merchants during the eighteenth, nineteenth, and twentieth centuries; It opened its doors to the public in 1999 when the institution that runs the museum strove to find a place to display the collections. At the same time, the museum was already given a place and was recognized because of its important value to the cultural scene of the ancient city of Budapest. The museum has four permanent exhibitions, and it is available to many temporary exhibitions.
