Giresun Castle is a fortress built in the second century BC in what is now Giresun Province in the Black Sea region. The remains of the castle are considered one of the most important landmarks in Turkey, as they are still in good condition despite the passage of thousands of years. Visitors will find, when visiting the area, most of the castle walls, some of its roof, several rooms and doors. Visitors come to the castle to learn about the history of the area, as well as to enjoy the majestic views of the Black Sea, as the castle is located in an elevated area of the city.
