The Citadel Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Turkey, which has a typical Ottoman architectural design built under a Western influence with one entrance, and the Baroque style affects the carvings on the entrance door, which consists of monolithic stone columns. The mihrab and minbar are believed to be original because they exhibit the same period characteristics, and the curved and circular decorations throughout the mihrab's surface are exquisite. As for the minbar, which is made of wooden material, it was made using the decorative technique.
