Qatabawi Rock is a unique rock located on top of Mount Palungsan near the city of Daegu in South Korea. A statue of God Buddha was carved in this rock. The height of this huge granite statue is 4 meters. There are many legends attached to this statue, as it is said that it was carved by a Buddhist monk named Uehyun to lead the soul of his deceased mother to heaven.
