Gandanteghenlin Monastery, in northwest Ulaanbaatar, is the largest Tibetan-style Buddhist monastery in Mongolia. Its name means "place of bliss." It dates back nearly 200 years and was built under the patronage of Buddha, and is now the most famous place.
