Gallery of Modern Art is an art museum, located in the Southbank district of Brisbane. This gallery is part of the Queensland Cultural Centre, 150 meters from the Queensland Art Gallery. This gallery opened its doors for the first time in 2006, to be the largest exhibition of modern and contemporary art in Australia, with an exhibition hall area of more than 25,000 square meters, which displays collections of contemporary art from Australia, Asia, and the Pacific region. This exhibition also includes the first cinema in the world. Australia, as well as being home to the Children's Art Centre, collaborates on interactive artworks with top artists from around the world.
