Located in the Lofoten archipelago in the famous fishing village of Henningsvær, the museum contains the largest collection of art from Northern Norway, collected between the turn of the last century and its end, a period many call the "golden age of art" Northern Norway. Among the exhibits in the museum are drawings of mountains with white slopes, handmade ships, and others.
