Going back 200 years, it is an open-air museum where visitors will be able to learn about the ways of life in the villages and barren lands that formed Herning in the nineteenth century. The museum consists of the remnants of an old historical village that has been renovated and many guiding boards are attached that show the use of each landmark in it. There are some buildings that were previously used for beekeeping, some buildings were for blacksmiths, and others were for farmers.
