The Four Courts is the main court house in Dublin. The building originally had four courts, hence the name. Work on the building began in 1776 under the direction of architect Thomas Cooley. The rotunda forms a central feature of the building and the inner and outer domes are surrounded by columns that support the dome. The dome was reconstructed with work completed on the building in 1932; It is an impressive structure, so don't miss it.
