The Fish Market Gallery is an intriguing modernist style building with Moorish elements, built at the beginning of the twentieth century (1917-1921) by the engineer Prospero Lafarga. Large semi-indoor courtyards, including the property of the Alicante City Council, which rehabilitated and allocated it for the use of an exhibition hall, and opened it in 1992. Throughout its history as an exhibition space, the Fish Market Gallery has hosted many exhibitions of different types including painting, sculpture, history and nature, in addition to various cultural activities Such as the new future market, doll festival, book fair, and others.
