Information about First Romanian School Museum
The first Roman school was built on the grounds of the Church of St. Nicholas, which dates back to the thirteenth century. The school was built at the end of the fifteenth century by the Roman governor Vlad Calugarul, and is an important archaeological and tourist landmark. A large part of the Roman books were printed. In it, the Roman language was used for teaching, and today the museum includes about 30 rooms that allow visitors to learn about the history of printing in the region, and also contains thousands of manuscripts and the first Roman Bible printed on a piece of goatskin.
