The Ethnographic Museum of Chefchaouen, also known as the Kasbah Museum, occupies a very important location within the walls of the Kasbah, and the archaeological building that houses it dates back to 1471, and was built by Prince Moulay Ali bin Rashid, founder of the Rashidiya Emirate in Chefchaouen, and the museum was established in 1985, and contains Two halls surrounded by the main lobby and expanded by side spaces. The museum contains a variety of Moroccan clothes, utensils and handicraft items, including two bridal chests and the Moroccan guard uniform. This collection represents the culture of the city and its surroundings, and reflects five centuries of civilization and culture among the local tribal groups, and elements from Andalusia. and Judaism, which settled in the city since its establishment in the last quarter of the fifteenth century.
