Ahmed El-Badawy was born in Morocco, and came to the Egyptian city of Tanta in 1234, and founded one of the largest Sufi rituals in Egypt, which is known as “Bedouin.” The Sayyid Ahmed El-Badawy Mosque is a mosque dedicated to Bedouin, and as soon as you enter it, you will find to your left the illuminated shrine of Mr. Bedouin With its green fluorescent lights, surrounded by pilgrims taking pictures on their mobile phones, it is considered an architectural masterpiece of great archaeological value with its architecture, decorations, woodwork and calligraphy paintings spread on its pulpit, mihrabs, windows, doors, walls and domes. About two million visitors visit this mosque during the Mawlid, which is held twice a year, in addition to the weekly visits.
