The El Sodio aqueduct was built between 1732 and 1738 in the city of Hidalgo, in order to supply the city's water. The canal consists of 14 arches with a length of 155 meters and a maximum height of 44 meters in its central arches. In addition to its role in conserving water, it constitutes a great architectural masterpiece that used Islamic architecture in the formation of the arches, which still stand with their importance to this day, and can never fail to amaze the beholder.
