The eco-market of Valeseco, known as Ecovales, is the first eco-market on the island of Gran Canaria. It contains ten stalls offering different products such as dairy products or preserves, all of which are certified, and there are two sections selling fruits and vegetables produced by local farmers who have the environmental certificate granted by the Government of the Canary Islands. There are two divisions selling non-perishable products such as oil, pasta, cereal and jam.
