Duatepe Monument, which was opened to visitors in 2000, is one of the works that bears the traces of the Sakarya War, and it is the place where Mustafa Kemal Ataturk fell from his horse and broke his ribs, and yet he continued to play his brave role in defending the homeland. It is mentioned that Duatep was the first hill that was returned from the hands of the enemy in 1921 AD, and the memorial is one of the important places in which the struggle for freedom of the Anatolian people is depicted.
