Administratively, Draria belongs to the state of Algiers, and it is a relatively small city compared to the rest of the governorate's cities. The city is characterized by a beautiful nature, where the fertile soil and flat plains, which contributed to making agriculture one of the most important professions in it, and the city also includes a number of distinctive landmarks, including historical mosques and some ancient buildings.
