Magnificent iron plant which ceased operations in 1998 after 170 years of continuous production. The Vitkovice Group, which owns the plant, offers visitors the opportunity to visit the site with a tour of the area including the mine, coal plant, blast furnaces and other mineral processing facilities. These areas were considered a National Cultural Heritage in 2002, and in 2008 the area was inscribed on the European Cultural Heritage List.
