The Algerian city of Jamila was founded at the end of the first century AD, and it is thus considered one of the oldest Algerian cities, and administratively affiliated to the state of Setif, and it has been classified as one of the archaeological cities on the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites. The city includes a number of archaeological sites that testify to its antiquity. Here, an old amphitheater whose features are clear, and there are many columns, angles, statues, stone carvings, gates and defensive castles.
