The Dark Church, dating from the mid-11th century, is one of the most famous and most beautiful cave churches in Cappadocia. It is located within the Goreme Open Air Museum. It features bright and wonderful paintings on every wall. The cross church has four pillars, five domes, and three towers. The Dark Church, along with Apple Church and Sandal Church, are known as the "Three Column Churches" due to their architectural and artistic similarities.
