The museum consists of 7 halls, which are the exhibition hall, the restoration department for antiques, the service area, classrooms, library, researchers offices and a hall. The covered outdoor exhibits include the pre-historic hall, the pre-Islamic period, the Islamic period, the Heritage Hall, the Modern History Hall, and the Unification Hall of the Kingdom. It also contains the ground floor hall, which consists of the glass dome, the main entrance hall, the corner for VIP visitors and information, the souvenir corner, the visiting performance hall, classrooms and child education halls, and the main repository of antiques.
