The Monastery of Mar Elijah Al-Hiri, also known as the Monastery of Mar Elijah, is a historical Christian monastery located south of Mosul in Nineveh Governorate, Iraq. It was established in the late sixth century and was one of the oldest monasteries in the region. It was characterized by a simple architectural design, but it includes many important religious values. . Today, due to the many calamities that Iraq has gone through, there are only some ruins left of the monastery.
