Şanlıurfa municipality bought the historical pilgrims house that was destroyed in 2011 and turned it into a “Traditional Culinary Museum”, in which the kitchen utensils formed from the past to the present in Şanlıurfa district are displayed, and the museum’s holdings that are important examples of Urfa’s kitchen culture are being revived With the help of wax statues wearing traditional clothes of the region, the Culinary Museum is one of the indispensable examples of Urfa's historic houses with its five rooms, two water wells and a spacious courtyard.
