The Gardens of the Crystal Palace are located on a hilltop in the center of Porto, and extend over a vast area of 8 hectares, and have a stunning array of landscapes, offering panoramic views of the city and the Douro River. These gardens were designed at the end of the 19th century by the work of the famous German gardener Émille David, today an oasis of calm within the bustling city of Porto, carefully intertwined paths between gardens and botanical lawns, dotted with many amazing fountains and sculptures.
