The Capuchis Monastery dates back to the 16th century, specifically to 1558, and has long since ceased to function as a church, and is now used for concerts, most notably the International Music Festival in Capuchis. This place has a wonderful panoramic view of the coast, and there is also an observation post from which you can see Lisbon and the hills of Sintra beyond. You must visit this monastery to enjoy the views and take a walk in the beautiful gardens surrounding it.
