Namur Castle is a castle located in Namur, the capital of the Walloon, at the confluence of the Sambre and Meuse rivers. Its origin goes back to the Roman era, but it was rebuilt several times. Its present form was designed by Minno van Cohorn, and improved by Vauban after the siege of 1692. It has been designated a major heritage site in Wallonia.
