It is the most important market for the marketing of fresh fruits, vegetables and food products. One can also buy the famous meat, meat products and cheese produced in Sibiu, as it is located at the outer border of the Lower Town (part of the historic city). More than 300 spaces are available here for the marketing of products, due to the fact that the demand for such products is constantly increasing and the local authorities want to encourage producers to increase their activity in Sibiu, providing them with space for marketing under two traditional systems.
