The Church of the Holy Spirit is the most famous church in Heidelberg. It is located in the heart of the market in the old town, and its tall tower is visible from all parts of the city. Work began on the construction of this beautiful church in the year 1426, and the architects at that time did an amazing job, as it has not been touched since that time and the church is still in very excellent condition. The church is built in the late Gothic architectural style so visitors will find stunning arches, huge windows and high domes.
