The Chouf is one of the six districts of the Mount Lebanon Governorate. The course of the Damour River forms its northern borders, and the course of the Awali River forms its southern borders. It extends from the shores of the White Sea in the west upwards towards the peaks of Mount Barouk. It is characterized by its picturesque nature and many tourist and archaeological destinations. The Moon, Moussa Castle, Beiteddine Town, Murshid Spring Falls, in addition to the famous Chouf Cedar Reserve.
