The Visitor and Interpretation Center at Mancha Blanca in Lanzarote provides a scientific reflection on one of the largest volcanic eruptions on Earth that occurred between 1730 and 1736 in Timanfaya, where nearly a third of the island was affected by volcanic activity. Between a lot of lava and badlands, it includes huge internal rooms equipped to display panels with important information explaining the volcanic phenomenon and its interrelationship with various aspects such as geology and oceanography.
