Lanzarote is a small volcanic island located in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Morocco about two and a half hours by plane from mainland Spain to which it belongs. It covers an area of 846 square kilometers. It is the fourth largest of the islands of the Canary Islands archipelago, and is a popular holiday destination for tourists who come to it. To enjoy the warm sunshine and explore the exceptional volcanic landscapes. From the air, Lanzarote looks like a series of volcanic cones, made up of endless fields of lava rock, but if you look closely you will find charming whitewashed villages, green valleys, towering cliffs, stunning beaches and peaceful coves.
