Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (CCBB RJ) is located inside the former Brazilian Bank building. The building dates back to 1880 AD and was converted into a cultural center and museum after the Bank moved to its new building, where the original building was preserved, and it includes a theater and cinema in addition to the halls used for holding art exhibitions and events. The center also includes a library containing more than 150,000 different books.
