These caves are named after the famous historian Ibn Khaldun, who took refuge in them from 1375 to 1379 to devote himself to writing the Kitab al-Muqaddimah and part of the Kitab al-Anthalith. Inside this wonderful natural cave there are small isolated rooms that can be used as shelter. Despite the location of these caves in a remote area, they are very popular with tourists from inside and outside Algeria, so do not miss the opportunity to visit them!
