Dona Chica Castle is a neo-romanesque castle designed and executed in 1915 by the Swiss and Portuguese architect Ernesto Korrodi, and it shows a mixture of architectural influences that led to a common aesthetic in the early twentieth century. The forest surrounding the castle has many exotic tree species, as well as different national species and a set of hiking trails.
