Camlica Hill or Brides Hill is located within the borders of the Uskudar region on the Anatolian side of Istanbul and near the first suspension bridge. It overlooks the Bosphorus and the Princess Islands on the Marmara Sea, and the historical Eminonu Peninsula, in addition to Uludag Mountain located near Bursa. It is considered one of the most preferred parks for locals and tourists in Istanbul, and it is also one of the highest and most charming places in the city. The hill is divided into two parts called “Big Çamlica” and “Small Çamlica.” The large Çamlica section is located at an altitude of 267 meters above sea level and the other at an altitude of 228 meters, and includes a large number of different trees, plants and flowers that give a special beauty to the garden.
