Not like the usual football game, especially since the tradition of this match dates back to the sixteenth century, with the semi-final being held during the first weekend of June (6) in a sand-filled arena in front of Santa Croce Church, players from the four teams dressed in uniforms Medieval-style, they could punch, kick and slash their way toward the goal in any way possible, an activity universally recognized. The final match will be held on the feast day of the patron saint of Florence "St. John the Baptist" corresponding to the 24th of June, where the show starts at four o'clock and the match begins at five o'clock. It is really amazing and fun to watch.
