This quiet place is Bergen's first official park and dates back to 1855. The park used to be a larger area but shrunk after the great fire of 1855. Today, in this wonderful park you can take a picnic on a sunny day, or just sit back and relax Under a tree listening to birds singing. Do not forget to get acquainted with some of the statues in the garden, such as: the crying child, the famous musician Harald Saeverud.
