Bergen is a Norwegian city and is the second largest city in Norway in terms of population density, with a population of approximately 275,000 people. The city is located in the Hordaland region on the western coast of Norway. It is known as the Gateway to the Norwegian Fjords and the City of Seven Mountains, where the city is surrounded by seven mountains. The city of Bergen is the best and most popular entrance to the fjords in the west, such as the Hardangerfjord and Sognfjord. The city features many places for lovers and hiking lovers, as well as scenic views and wonderful natural areas. Among the most famous landmarks and tourist areas in Bergen are the historic Hanseatic region, the port area and the magnificent lakes, the Seven Mountains, especially the 320-meter-high Flöwen, and Mount Ulriken. This towering mountain is 643 meters long and is the highest mountain peak in the mountains of Bergen.
