Buckingham Fountain is one of the largest fountains in the world, located within Grant Park, and is one of the iconic Chicago landmarks, due to its unique design in the form of a rococo cake, inspired by the Latona fountain in the Palace of Versailles, as well as its delicate bronze sculptures, and its use of modern technology in the techniques of water pumping. When you visit this fountain, you can enjoy watching the water shows that take place every hour, and last for 20 minutes, from mid-April to mid-October.
