The Botanical Garden of the University of Ferrara, which was opened in 1771 AD, extends over an area of 4,500 square meters, and is home to 1,300 greenhouses that house a large group of plants, and is adorned with more than 700 varieties of medicinal and aromatic plants and fruits full of vitamins, divided into several sections: Shade garden, English, Mediterranean, Japanese, Italian, rock garden, and water park in which baby turtles gallop.
