Information about Bolu Museum
The Polo Museum, located on the ground floor of the city’s cultural center building, consists of two parts: the Archeology Hall and the Ethnography Hall. The Antiquities Hall includes pieces dating back to the Neolithic and Old Bronze ages, Greek antiques, and antiques made of marble, glass, metal and clay dating back to the Roman and Byzantine periods. Bronze, silver and gold coins belonging to the Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Islamic cultures, while in the Ethnography Hall works belonging to Turkey's modern past dating back to the first half of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, include traditional costumes, agricultural tools, jewelry, keys, religious artifacts, weapons and ethnographic works different.
