Kanlidivan is a sacred settlement developed around the natural crater of Swunu within the boundaries of the Kingdom of Olba. It was an inhabited settlement, with churches and temples whose inscriptions indicate that they were founded thousands of years ago. Perhaps one of the things that contributed most to making this natural area famous is the abundant natural spread of olive trees, as it was the main source of olive oil at the time, and it was used as the Akali port for the export of olive oil later.
