Since 1879 Blackwills has been the UK's largest specialty academic bookstore, with 30 branches across the UK from Aberdeen to Exeter. In 2018, the store was named Retailer of the Year at the British Book Awards, and Academic Book Series of the Year voted for by publishers at the Academic Book Trade Conference.
