The Black Heritage Trail is a 1.6-mile trail in Old Boston, showcasing the homes and community buildings of a thriving black community that was formed during the country's early years. The trail highlights chains such as the 54th Regiment Memorial, Abel Smith School, and African Meeting House, as well as some homes and churches that still stand from the days of the Revolution.
